Not since the "Advanced Search" page has a search interface technology been introduced to enable users to control and define how search software performs. The Aware Search team, with our understanding of how users find and use information, develops technologies that assist users in searching online information sources. Our patent pending technology automatically pursues search paths that the user did not recognize, or was unable to pursue due to time or skill limitations. Our approach is to introduce these technologies into how users want to search, providing a powerful boost with minimal invasiveness.

Aware is the first product released that incorporates our approach and technology. We are already hard at work on the next version, and welcome comments on what you would like to see in the product. Aware Search is a group within Stottler Henke Associates, Inc., a software development firm that specializes in applying artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies to create “smart” systems and tools.
